History of the classic Alien Splatter game
This classic 8 bit style retro run and gun platform game was originally developed by Nintendo for the NES back in the later part of the 80s. This platformer is based on quite a few game series, Castlevania and Contra being the main ones. The video game was re-made as a flash game back in October 2013, and first released on the NewsGroound gaming website.
What is Splatter
Splatter means to splash and scatter upon impact. You can look at this as an act or instance of splattering. The term is often used in alien movies, where one of the goals are to eliminate the aliens.
